November tends to be rather gray in many parts of the world. So what better remedy could there be as some colorful inspiration? To bring some good vibes to your desktops and home screens, artists and designers from across the globe once again tickled their creative ideas and designed beautiful and inspiring wallpapers to welcome the new month.

The wallpapers in this collection all come in versions with and without a calendar for November 2023 and can be downloaded for free. And since so many unique designs have seen the light of day in the more than twelve years that we’ve been running this monthly wallpapers series, we also compiled a selection of November favorites from our archives at the end of the post. Maybe you’ll spot one of your almost-forgotten favorites in there, too? A big thank you to everyone who shared their designs with us this month — this post wouldn’t exist without you. September is just around the corner, and that means it’s time for some new wallpapers! For more than twelve years already, our monthly wallpapers series has been the perfect occasion for artists and designers from all across the globe to challenge their creative skills and dive into a little project just for fun. Telling the stories they want to tell, using the tools they love. This always makes for an inspiring and unique collection of wallpapers each month anew, and, of course, this month is no exception.

Living In The Moment (August 2023 Wallpapers Edition)

Everybody loves a beautiful wallpaper to freshen up their desktops and home screens, right? To cater for new and unique artworks on a regular basis, we started our monthly wallpapers series more than twelve years ago, and from the very beginning to today, artists and designers from across the globe have accepted the challenge and submitted their designs to it. Just like this month.

In this post, you’ll find their wallpapers for August 2023. All of them come in versions with and without a calendar, so no matter if you need to count down the days to a big deadline (or a few days off, maybe?) or plan to use your favorite wallpaper even after the month has ended, we’ve got you covered. Off To New Adventures (July 2023 Wallpapers Edition)

Often, it’s the little things that inspire us and that we treasure most. The sky shining in the most beautiful colors at the end of a seemingly endless summer day, riding your bike through a light rain shower on a hot afternoon — or maybe it’s a scoop of your favorite ice cream that refuels your batteries? No matter what big and small adventures July will have in store for you this year, our new collection of wallpapers is bound to cater for some inspiration along the way.

More than twelve years ago, we started this monthly wallpapers series to bring you a variety of beautiful, unique, and inspiring wallpapers every month. It’s a community effort made possible by artists and designers from around the globe who challenge their creative skills to cater for some good vibes on your screens. And, well, it wasn’t any different this time around.

In this post, you’ll find their wallpaper designs for July 2023. All of them come in versions with and without a calendar and can be downloaded for free. To make the month even more colorful, we also compiled a selection of July favorites from our wallpapers archives at the end of this post. Make Your May Magnificent (2023 Wallpapers Edition)

Let’s welcome May with some new wallpapers! For over twelve years, we’ve challenged you, our dear readers, to create wallpaper calendars for our monthly wallpapers posts. No matter if you’re into lettering, illustration, or photography, the series is the perfect opportunity to create a small artwork and share it with people from all around the world — to brighten up someone’s day, cater for some fresh inspiration, or to put your creative skills to the test. Of course, it wasn’t any different this time around.

In this collection, you’ll find desktop and mobile wallpapers for May 2023, created with love by artists and designers who took on the challenge. They all come in versions with and without a calendar and can be downloaded for free. As a little bonus goodie, we also compiled a selection of timeless May favorites from our archives at the end of this post. On The Edge Of November (2022 Desktop Wallpapers Edition)

November tends to be a rather gray month in many parts of the world. So what better remedy could there be as some colorful inspiration? To bring some good vibes to your desktops and home screens, artists and designers from across the globe once again tickled their creativity and designed beautiful and inspiring wallpapers to welcome the new month.

This monthly wallpapers challenge has been going on for more than eleven years already, and we are very thankful to everyone who has put their creative skills to the test and contributed their artworks to it — back in the early days, just like today.

The wallpapers in this collection all come in versions with and without a calendar for November 2022 and can be downloaded for free. As a little bonus goodie, we also compiled some timeless treasures from past November editions at the end of this post for you. Enjoy!

Finding The Balance (September 2022 Desktop Wallpapers Edition)

Lush green slowly turning into yellows, reds, and browns in the Northern hemisphere; nature awakening from its slumber in the Southern part of the world: September is a time of change. A chance to leave old habits behind and embrace the beginning of something new. And, well, sometimes it only takes a small change in routines to spark fresh inspiration and, who knows, maybe even great ideas.

With that in mind, we embarked on our monthly wallpapers challenge more than eleven years ago, and since then, artists and designers from all across the globe have accepted the challenge and submitted their designs to it to cater for a bit of variety on your desktop and mobile screens. Of course, it wasn’t any different this time around.

Memories Of August (2022 Desktop Wallpapers Edition)

Everybody loves a beautiful wallpaper to freshen up their desktops and home screens, right? To cater for new and unique artworks on a regular basis, we started our monthly wallpapers challenge more than eleven years ago, and from the very beginning to today, artists and designers from across the globe have accepted the challenge and submitted their designs to it. Just like this month.

In this post, you’ll find their wallpapers for August 2022. All of them come in versions with and without a calendar, so no matter if you need to count down the days to a big deadline (or a few days off, maybe?) or plan to use your favorite wallpaper even after the month has ended, we’ve got you covered. A big thank-you to everyone who shared their designs with us — we sincerely appreciate it!

The Small Joys Of April (2021 Wallpapers Edition)

Starting off the new month with a little inspiration boost — that’s the motivation behind our monthly wallpapers series which has been going on for more than ten years already. Each month, the wallpapers are created by the community for the community and everyone who has an idea for a design is welcome to submit it — experienced designers just like aspiring artists. Of course, it wasn’t any different this time around.

For this edition, creative folks from all across the globe once again challenged their skills to cater for some good vibes on your screens. The wallpapers all come in versions with and without a calendar for April 2021 and can be downloaded for free. Dreaming Of A Magical December (2020 Wallpapers Edition)

2020 was a year that was anything but ordinary, and, well, the upcoming holiday season will be different from what we all are used to, too. To cater for a little bit of holiday cheer in these weird times, artists and designers from across the globe got their creative juices flowing and created festive and inspiring wallpapers for December. Following our monthly tradition, they all come in versions with and without a calendar and can be downloaded for free.

We are very thankful to everyone who took the time to create an artwork and shared it with us this month — you are truly smashing! And since so many talented people have helped fill our archives with designs that are just too good to be forgotten in all these years we’ve been running this wallpapers challenge, we also compiled a little best-of from past December editions at the end of this post. Maybe you’ll spot one of your almost-forgotten favorites in there, too? Have a cozy December, everyone, and stay safe!
